Bahía de Acapulco

Acapulco Bay has a score of delightful beaches. Some have gentle, friendly waves, like Caleta and Caletilla, others have moderate waves like La Condesa while still others have rough waves in the open sea like El Revolcadero, but all of them are extremely beautiful.

Caleta
Perhaps the most popular beach in the bay, its gentle waves and moderate slope make it ideal for water sports enthusiasts. It also boasts spectacular sunsets.

Caletilla
Extremely popular beach because it is so safe, it is also the site of the New Magical Sea World, a center of marine displays.

Icacos
Extensive beach with different types of waves. Excellent for swimming, particularly in the morning.

Acapulco Beaches

Isla de la Roqueta
Its beaches are calm and safe for swimming. You can either go snorkeling or visit the zoo with exotic species. Just one kilometer south of Caleta and Caletilla. Visiting the island is one of the most traditional activities in Acapulco.

La Condesa
Internationally renowned beach with medium slope and medium to strong waves, it is a favorite meeting place for young water sports enthusiasts.

Pie de la Cuesta
Beautiful beach 10 km northeast of Acapulco facing the open sea, the powerful waves are ideal for surfing. You can ride along the beach enjoying the magnificent sunsets.

Acapulco Beach

Puerto Marques
Small bay nestling in mountains covered with tropical vegetation. Its waters are suitable for all kinds of aquatic activities, such as snorkeling, diving and sailing. Pony treks recommended.

Revolcadero
One of the most beautiful and exotic beaches in the area. Set on the open sea, its rough waves are ideal for surfers.

GOLF

Gof in Acapulco

The 18 holes spread over the beautiful green carpet at the Hotel Acapulco Princess Golf Course invite you to come and enjoy your favorite pastime. You can also play at the Club de Golf Acapulco, near the Convention Center.

Club de Golf Acapulco
This is a nine-hole course where you can take lessons and rent equipment from 8:00 to 16:00 hours.

Club de Golf Acapulco Princess
This 18-hole course is 6,350 yards long and is considered one of the best golf courses in Mexico.

Club de Golf Pierre Marqués
OPEN: Open from 7:00 to 19:00
This course was the location of the 1982 World Cup Golf Championship. It has 18 holes and excellent facilities.

Club de Golf Tres Vidas
This is an 18-hole course.

Mayan Palace Golf Club Vidafel
It has 18 holes. Fraccionamiento Playa Diamante.
According to “Golf and Life” magazine, this course, located right on the water´s edge, was among the best 10 golf courses in the world.

NIGHT LIFE
Acapulco’s nightlife has something for everyone and its illuminated glass porches are now legendary. The discotheques, dance halls and bars are designed for all sorts of people wishing to have a good time. Many of these establishments have a panoramic view of the bay.
